I shot my first videos back in the mid 70′s on a clunky black and white reel to reel Sony portapack which would be a serious manual task hazard today! Working in a community arts centre in the western suburbs was a pivotal experience at a time of social change.
After a series of careers in sales and manufacturing, I completing a trade qualification in the printing industry. I returned to the video scene around 2002 and have learned some useful skills then. I have always tried to learn as much as I can about how things work and how video and other multimedia tools can be used to improve storytelling and conveying messages. It’s a journey that’s for sure.
Today I work with great clients many of whom have become friends and with contractors who help me to create great individual and collective works for my clients. It is a great time to be around as massive changes in technology and leaps forward in ideas on communication are all around. I would also like to acknowledge the people who also work in the same field for their friendship and competitive spirit which drives us on on to do better for our clients.
